About

Pilsa was born from an uncomfortable question: what if the problem was not the people, but the way we were trying to teach them?

Eduardo Juárez is the founder and CEO of Pilsa. Guatemalan, with 30 years of experience in education across Latin America, he has worked alongside universities, governments and companies on how they train their people. Today he leads Pilsa from California, with a team that brings learning to people's phones and supports every process until results show up in their work.

For thirty years I worked with universities, ministries and companies across Latin America. I saw training programs that were very well built, with good content and good teachers. And still I saw the same scene over and over: people left a seminar motivated, certificate in hand, and two weeks later they remembered almost nothing. Much less did they apply it.

It was not a lack of will. The format had nothing to do with their lives. We asked them for a full day away from their jobs, gave them everything at once, and then they went back to their desks with a hundred pending tasks. What they learned stayed in the classroom.

Meanwhile, those same people were truly learning in other places: in small moments, from their phone, watching a short video or reading a message between one meeting and the next. That is when I understood that the problem was not the people. It was the way we were trying to teach them.

That is how Pilsa was born. I wanted learning to fit into the day of a busy person, and for what was learned to stay and be used. That is why we run a diagnosis, design tailored paths, deliver them in short doses via WhatsApp and our platform, and support each person until we see what they learned and how they are applying it at work.

What we do

Pilsa diagnoses what each person needs to learn, designs tailored paths in short lessons that reach their phone, and measures with the ADAV Index how far each one has progressed.

Mission

That any organization in Latin America can train its people where they are, when they can, and with proof that it worked.

Vision

A region where learning is no longer a privilege of those who have time, a classroom or a desk, and where no organization invests in training without knowing what changed.

What we believe

Training is measured by what changes

Not in hours or certificates, but in what the person does differently afterwards

People learn where they work

That is why we take the paths to the channels people already use every day

Rigor before volume

Diagnosis, instructional design and measurement in every program, with no shortcuts
